Summer Teaching Associates
TTS needs part-time, summer employees to serve as Teaching Associates during summer training programs at investment banks and other corporate clients across the nation. The length of employment can vary from a few weeks or months to a full-time associate position. Most training programs are based in New York City, but there is potential travel to other cities throughout North America.

- Work experience and skill requirements for our Teaching Associates typically include:
- Strong analytical skills, especially valuation and financial modeling expertise
- A proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially with constructing financial models
- A patient personality that derives enjoyment from helping others learn
- No prior teaching experience required. You will be paired with a primary TTS instructor who you will support as they lead instruction
- Duties as a Teaching Associate include:
- Assist trainees one-on-one or in small groups with daily Excel-based valuation exercises (i.e., public & acquisition comparables, constructing a standalone earnings forecast model, DCF, LBO, merger consequences), specifically:
- Conceptual reinforcement of valuation topics, calculations and lecture materials
- Sharing Excel "tips" with short-cuts and more efficient modeling approaches
- Evaluation of daily exercises
