Josh Woods: Instructor

Josh joined TTS in 2005 as a teaching associate and became a full time instructor in 2006. Josh brings to the classroom a diverse background within the banking and investing communities, having worked as both an investment banker and an equity analyst for nearly a decade.Josh began his professional career in J.P. Morgan's healthcare investment banking group in New York where he focused on managed care and hospital companies. While working in New York, Josh first discovered his desire to teach while serving as a guest lecturer for internal training programs. After being promoted to associate in 1999, he transferred to J.P. Morgan's London office where he worked in a development role as a rotating associate in DCM.

Josh's search for a dynamic role with equal parts writing, speaking and analyzing eventually led him to equity research in London where he covered the European pharmaceutical sector. A thirst for New York City and a desire to be closer to family out west brought him back to the United States in 2004.Josh holds a BS in Business with emphasis in Finance from the University of Montana and successfully passed Level II of the CFA exam. In addition to teaching at many large investment banking clients, Josh takes a leadership role with TTS's many investment research clients. Josh especially enjoys teaching students how to value companies under uncertainty and advanced P&L forecasting techniques.
